Back to Florida, circa 1998. The Volusia Southern, which services the industries west of Edgewater, FL, is part of my imagined 1990s Florida railroad world. Florida East Coast operates a short line partnership program, and this includes the VS, the St. Johns Railway, Indian River Railway and the Eldora County Railroad.

First locomotive done in the East Coast Rail scheme. It’s an Athearn gp18. ECR roster five locomotives- 2gp18s and an rs11 that will be in the company paint scheme, as well as a gp7u and gp20 that will be patched out. Thanks to Circus City Decals for the custom design and printing.

The trackplan is done! I commissioned Robert Chant at Journal of Model Railroad Design https://www.facebook.com/groups/jomrd and http://www.jomrd.com/ to design it with my input. He managed to sqeeze eveything in I wanted. I highly reccomend Rob if you need help with a track plan. This is my lifetime project, so I better get started building it!
