Are you friendly, reliable, and good at captaining pontoons? We are looking for occasional assistance with pontoon boat check ins and outs, as well as captaining. We are a small boat rental company that rents out two pontoons leaving from Law Park in Lake Monona. When our full time employee Brad is out captaining, we will need assistance preparing/cleaning boats between sessions, going through the boat orientation check-in protocol with groups, and/or captaining groups.
You want:
-occasional part-time work as needed. We estimate up to a few times a week that could pop up last minute at times and well ahead of time at other times. Shifts include weekends and evenings. Work could begin mid May through mid October, but likely will be more consistent from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
-outside and social work
You are:
-absolutely committed to customer service and safety
-good at taking feedback
-detail-oriented with boat cleaning and preparation
-reliable and good with keeping track of calendars
-friendly and can get along with many types of people
-familiar with captaining pontoons, especially in Lake Monona/Mendota
-accessible to downtown Madison on Lake Monona and available for occasional last minute shifts that pop up
Pay:
$25 per boat preparation/check in
$25 per boat check out
$25/hour when captaining
