Someone recently told me, “People don’t need a travel agent. They can book their own trips.”

And they’re absolutely right.

Most people can book their own vacations.

Just like you can paint your own nails.
Make your own coffee.
Wash your own car.
Cut your own grass.
Do your own taxes.

But somehow nail salons are booked, Starbucks has a line around the building, lawn companies stay busy, and accountants still have jobs.

Because being capable of doing something and wanting to spend your time doing it are two completely different things.

You can spend hours comparing resorts, reading hundreds of reviews, figuring out which room category is actually worth the upgrade, researching transfers and excursions, learning cancellation policies, tracking deadlines, and trying to make sure you haven’t missed anything.

Or… you can hand all of that to someone who does it every single day.

A good travel advisor isn’t valuable because we know how to click “Book Now.”

We’re valuable because we know what to book, what to avoid, what questions you didn’t know you needed to ask, and what details need to be handled before they ever have the chance to become a problem.

And when something does go wrong? You already have someone in your corner who knows where to start.

You aren’t hiring me because you can’t book your own vacation.

You’re hiring me because your time has value. Because expertise has value. And because when you’re spending thousands of dollars on a vacation you’ve been looking forward to for months—or sometimes years—you’d rather have someone making sure it’s done right.

Could you do it yourself? Absolutely.

But you don’t have to. ✈️
