13th Civil Support Team Soldier & Family Readiness Group The 13th Civil Support Team Family Readiness Group We are located in Coventry, RI.

The 13th Civil Support Team (WMD) is an emergency response team comprised of full-time Rhode Island National Guard Army and Air personnel. The team was established in 2004 as a result of Presidential
Directives in response to an ever-growing threat of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) terrorism within the United States. Family Readiness Group (FRG) is a command-sponsored organization of family members, volunteers, soldiers and civilian employees associated with the 13th CST. FRG's are established to provide activities and support to enhance the flow of information, increase the resiliency of unit soldiers and their families, provide practical tools for adjusting to military deployments and separations, and enhance the well-being and esprit de corps within the unit. The activities emphasized will vary depending on whether the unit is in pre/post deployment, deployed, or in a training/sustainment period at home station. Since one of the goals of an FRG is to support the military mission through provision of support, outreach, and information to family members, certain FRG activities are essential and common to all groups, and include member meetings, staff and committee meetings, publication and distribution of newsletters, maintenance of virtual FRG websites, maintenance of updated rosters and readiness information, and member telephone trees and e-mail distribution lists.

PULLING FOR PENNEY

Addieville East Farm and the O’Brien family have been an incredible part of our annual 13th CST-SFRG Fun Shoot, helping us support our servicemembers and their families year after year.

Now, we have an opportunity to return that support.

On Sunday, November 8th, Addieville will host Pulling for Penney, a benefit shoot supporting Firefighter Mike Penney and his family.

We encourage our 13th CST family, past Fun Shoot participants, sponsors, and supporters to come out and support a family that has supported us for so many years.

EVENT REMINDER

The 17th Annual 13th CST-SFRG Fun Shoot is this Sunday at Addieville East Farm! Before you head out, a few quick reminders:

• The course will consist of 50 targets.
• Am******on is available for purchase on site, but we highly recommend bringing your own.
• Eye and ear protection is required for everyone on the course.
• Raffles will be available throughout the day with Cash and Venmo accepted.
• Please plan accordingly, as there is no ATM on site.

⚠️ FUN SHOOT UPDATE — EVENT POSTPONED

Due to the potential storms across Rhode Island this Sunday, we have made the decision to postpone the 17th Annual 13th CST-SFRG Fun Shoot, Raffle & Steak Fry.

NEW DATE: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2026
Addieville East Farm

The safety of our participants, volunteers, and supporters comes first, and we want everyone to be able to enjoy a great day at Addieville.

All registrations and event plans will carry over to the new date.

WEATHER UPDATE — FUN SHOOT

We’re keeping a close eye on the possible rainy weather this Sunday for our 17th Annual Fun Shoot at Addieville East Farm.

As of now, the event is still scheduled as planned. We will make an official weather call by Thursday and post the update here on our page.

If weather forces us to postpone, the new event date will be Sunday, October 4th.
