There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow...Are you a fan of Carousel of Progress at Disney World? My family has always enjoyed this show and it's catchy tune (not to mention it's a relaxing break for your feet from the Florida heat when visiting in the summer). Today, Disney announced that this attraction will close on July 6 to begin a major update. I'm bummed to hear this because our vacation this summer begins July 7. Wish I could have caught it 1 more time!

May 18 has always meant 2 big things to me. 1: it was my Dad's birthday (happy birthday in heaven Daddy!) and 2: the eruption of Mt St Helens. I have always loved volcanoes and visiting here was so exciting! The pacific NW has many beautiful mountains to see but if you want to be impressed by nature's power, this one is a must visit.

Today, I priced out a 10 day cruise on the Norwegian Joy in June visiting 5 port stops in Alaska, 1 glacier visit, 2 sea days and a stop in Canada. A balcony cabin with gratuities, specialty dining and drink package included for 2 is less than $200 pp per day. Discounts are available for military, first responders and teachers too! Wishing all the traveling Moms out there a happy mother's day! My Mom is in the middle of one of her annual road trips. 5 of the last 6 years, she has taken multiple week trips, camping out of her vehicle. Most years she travels solo, sometimes she has a buddy part of the time. This year, she has spent time in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. I hope I'm still moving like this when I'm 82!

May the 4th be with you! Are you Star Wars fans in your house? Hollywood Studios at Disney World is a must visit! I miss the days when my kids could do the Jedi Academy, they fought both Darth Vader and Darth Maul. Now, they build lightsabers!

Today they announced dates for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party starting in August. The Magic Kingdom is so nice decorated for the season! Give me a shout if you want to plan a trip.
