As we wrap up the 2025-2026 school year, we’d like to celebrate! Our PTO applied for and was awarded a $5,000 grant from Community Foundation to replace the shade covers over the elementary playground. At our May meeting, the 2025-2026 board of Emily Abernathy, Ashley Scarpinato, Kristen Fowler and Jasmine Rodriguez passed the torch to the 2026-2027 board of President, Logan Bolton; Co-VPs, Emily Abernathy & Alyssa Estes; Secretary, McKenna Miller and Treasurer, Jessica Williams.

Taco ‘bout showing our Mason Elementary Teachers and staff some appreciation!

The Mason Elementary PTO served our amazing teachers a catered taco bar during lunch as a way to show our appreciation.

We’ve had so many people reach out to help this coming school year, which is amazing! Our meetings are the second Tuesday of the month, we don’t meet during the summer typically. Next meeting will be Tuesday May 12th 5:30 in the cafeteria. If you want to serve on the board next year you must attend! Per our bylaws there have to be nominations and a vote for board members. PTO is mainly a group of parent volunteers who are raising funds to help where we can at the school. If you have questions feel free to reach out to our president, Emily Abernathy. Hope to see you there!

As we end 2025-2026 School year, a decision to continue next years PTO needs to be made. We have 4 board positions (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) rotating off of will need to be filled in order to continue the Mason Elementary PTO chapter. If anyone is wanting to fill those positions, please say so in this message group. A no response to this message will be marked as a no for the PTO chapter to continue. Any remaining funds will be donated to Mason Elementary.

We understand it is a very busy time of year! We will be having a lunch meeting Tuesday 4/14, noon at La Copa Joe. We are hopeful with moving it to lunch it might fit better into peoples schedules. Hope to see you there!
