The DRAA received a Federal FAA grant for a water suppression system and is nearing completion. This system will assure any aircraft that may need fire suppression an immediate source of water and it also completes the infrastructure that was installed nearly 13 years ago. Another benefit is that it will allow all buildings over 10,000 square feet to meet state fire code by having ceiling mounted sprinklers. The DRAA is also looking to the future and assuring any future businesses that they will have the ability to meet state fire code as well when looking to build on site!

Recognize this helicopter? It was featured in Season 1 of Duck Dynasty. A crew based in Little Rock flew out of Delta Regional Airport during a four day eagle spotting mission this week .

Earlier this week an air ambulance was returning to Batesville about 2:00 am after delivering their patient when they realized they were low on fuel and landed at Delta Regional Airport. They were warm and comfortable with coffee, drinks, snacks, and recliners until DRA staff could safely get to the airport on the icey roads. They were fueled and on their way after a complimentary breakfast at local favorite restaurant Greg and Jim’s! Here is a look at what our terminal offers…
