We received a call about the possibility of moving an entire soup kitchen. The customer voiced his concerns about some of the items because of the size and weight. He had other movers come in and they were not up to it. We came out to see the task at hand and basically told him, if it made it in here we will get it out. We also moved a giant tilting steam kettle I was unable to get pictures of. Legacy was able to get it done and the customer was very happy with us being able to take care of him when another company said no way. As September rolls in we are starting to fill in some slots. Today on our move, the customer also had a almost 400 pound safe included into their 3 bedroom home move. As you can see it needed to be put into the basement with a pretty tight turn. Yesterday Legacy Movers was tasked to move a customers family heirloom. This was her grandmother’s Baby Grand Piano. It was in her father’s finished basement. As opposed to taking the stairs we decided to add a 4th man to the job and take it out the rear patio and up the grass. By having the correct 4 wheel dolly it was moved through the grass with little restraint. We then moved the piano to the new place and set it back up right where she and her husband wanted it.
