Don’t get me wrong, I love going down a hotel rabbit hole and seeing what options are out there.

But at a certain point (Usually the part where you have to pick one), it turns into overwhelm.

And that’s what I’m here for, the part where you’re done with inspiration and ready to have help making the right decisions.

I have a few complimentary discovery calls left this month for Europe summer travel planning, link in bio to chat.

You know I’m always going to find you a good time… and this one? This is NEXT LEVEL.

I’m talking about something that has NEVER happened before and I don’t want you missing it.

On February 16, 2027, all FOUR Virgin Voyages ships - Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, Resilient Lady and Brilliant Lady will meet at sea in the Caribbean. Yes… all four. At the same time.

It’s called Sisters at Sea, and trust me, this is going to be one for the books.

Think:
✨ High-energy celebrations across the fleet
🎉 Exclusive onboard experiences
🎤 And yes… Richard Branson himself making a special appearance

So here’s my question, which ship are YOU sailing on?

Because if you’re not booked yet, now is the time. These cabins will not last once word really gets out.

Here are your options:

❤️ Scarlet Lady — Feb 15 | 5 Nights
Miami → Freeport + The Beach Club at Bimini

💜 Valiant Lady — Feb 13 | 7 Nights
San Juan → Samaná, Grand Turk, Cabo Rojo

💙 Resilient Lady — Feb 14 | 7 Nights
Miami → Freeport, Progreso, Beach Club at Bimini

✨ Brilliant Lady — Feb 8 | 10 Nights
Miami → St. Maarten, Tortola, St. Croix, San Juan, Beach Club at Bimini

Whether you want a quick escape or a longer adventure, I’ve got the perfect sailing for you.

Let’s get you booked and make sure you’re part of Virgin Voyages history.

Message me and I’ll take care of the rest, all you have to do is show up ready to have the time of your life.

Six years.

Which is a little wild when I stop and think about it.

When I started A Girl & A Bag, it wasn’t because the world needed another place to book a trip. Anyone can click a button and reserve a hotel.

What I wanted to build was something different.

A place where travel actually feels considered.
Where the details matter.
Where people who value their time don’t have to spend weeks second-guessing every decision.

Because the truth is… most people don’t want more options.
They want the right ones.

Over the past six years I’ve planned honeymoons, birthday trips, girls’ getaways, anniversary escapes, and those “we just need to get away for a minute” vacations that end up meaning the most.

I’ve watched clients become repeat travelers.
Repeat travelers become VIPs.
And some of you have been right here with me almost since the beginning.

That part will never be lost on me.

This business has grown a lot.
The trips are bigger.
The standards are higher.
The process is tighter.

But the heart of it hasn’t changed.

Thoughtful travel.
Well-paced itineraries.
Experiences that feel like they were designed for you, not copied from a search result.

Six years in… and I’m just getting warmed up.

And to everyone who has trusted me with their time away from real life —

You’ll never know how much that means.

Fall and winter travel for 2026 and early 2027?

You should already be thinking about it.

I know that sounds early. But the trips that feel really good… the rooms with the views, the smaller boutique hotels people love, the suites that actually make the trip feel special… those don’t sit around waiting for last-minute decisions.

They go quietly. Months in advance.

Every year I watch people start thinking about fall travel around August or September. By then the conversation has already shifted from what do you want to what’s still available.

Two very different experiences.

Fall and winter are honestly some of the best seasons to travel anyway. Cities feel richer. Europe slows down in the best way. Restaurants are cozy, the crowds thin out, and the whole trip feels a little more intentional. Then winter hits and suddenly everyone wants sun, warm water, and a reset before the year wraps up.

The people who get those trips locked in?

They start now.

So if you’ve been thinking about a fall city break, a winter escape somewhere warm, or even a holiday trip that doesn’t feel chaotic… this is when those plans start taking shape.

Not later.

Now.

This month I’m leaning into exactly that with my Jet Set Journal theme, which is all about fall and winter city escapes and the kind of trips that feel a little elevated from the start.

And if a trip has been quietly sitting in the back of your mind…
you already know what to do

Let me say this the way I’d say it to my girls.

Sometimes people accidentally ruin their own travel experience.

Not because they chose the wrong destination.
Not because they hired the wrong person.

But because they fight the process the entire time.

Trying to run my process.
I have a workflow for a reason. It keeps trips organized, accurate, and smooth. When the process gets rerouted halfway through, things get messy fast.

Micromanaging the planning.
If you hired me, you don’t need to stand over my shoulder. The back end of travel planning is logistics, supplier relationships, and timing most people never see.

Ignoring the hotel I recommended.
When I recommend a property, I’m thinking about location, service, room categories, and whether it actually matches the experience you said you wanted.

Sending every TikTok you see.
Social media is great for inspiration. It’s not a planning tool. Half the time those places are misrepresented, sold out, or nowhere near the price the video claimed.

Being unclear about your budget.
If the real number isn’t shared upfront, the recommendations will be off. I can only build options based on what I’m told.

Not reading my emails.
This one causes the most chaos. Payment deadlines, requirements, and trip details live there. When they’re skipped and someone says “no one told me,” it was usually already in writing.

Waiting until the last minute.
The best rooms and experiences go first. Planning early gives you options. Waiting gives you leftovers.

Here’s the truth.

When you trust the process and let me do what I do best, the trip usually turns out better than you expected.

Because I’m not just booking a hotel.

I’m designing the experience.

You’ve got twelve tabs open, a Reddit thread that contradicted everything you just planned, and your partner started zoning out two days ago whenever you bring up the trip.

I do this every week. I can tell you right now what makes sense, what doesn’t, and where you’re going to wish you had more time based on your goals for the trip and how you travel.

DM me your Google doc. I’ll take it from here.

I always say every woman needs a city break at least once.

Not a rushed trip where you’re trying to see every museum and landmark before noon. I mean the kind where you check into a beautiful hotel, unpack your favorite outfit, and step outside just to see where the night goes.

Cities have a way of waking something up in you. The energy, the people, the little cafés and restaurants tucked into side streets. Suddenly you’re walking more, noticing more, staying out later than you expected.

And for a couple of days you’re not operating on autopilot.

You’re just living.

A city break reminds you of a version of yourself that sometimes gets buried under routines and responsibilities.

And if you ask me, every woman deserves that version of herself at least once a year.

Okay but can I say something?

Maybe you don’t want another beach trip.

Maybe you don’t want to fight for a lounge chair or schedule your day around frozen drinks and pool playlists.

Maybe you want a city.

Like… a real one.

Where you wake up early because the streets are quiet and you actually want to walk them. Where you sit down for coffee and nobody’s rushing you. Where dinner requires a reservation and an outfit you packed on purpose.

You know that feeling when you walk into a hotel lobby and it just smells expensive? Tall ceilings. Good lighting. The kind of place where you naturally stand up a little straighter.

That.

Summer cities are loud. Crowded. Performing.

Fall cities? They exhale.

London feels like London again.
Paris slows down in the prettiest way.
New York gets sharp and electric.

And honestly… at this stage of life?
We’re not chasing weather.

We’re chasing atmosphere.

Just something to think about before you default to another beach.
