A little bit about me ...

❤️ It is my nature to help people. I like to find solutions for problems, share, teach, and sometimes even rescue. If your car is broken down on the road, you can count on me to stop and help push it out of the way. (My kids hate this about me.)

❤️ When you befriend me, I welcome you wholeheartedly. You’re in my TRIBE and I give you ALL the sacred knowledge. Whether you teach with me, join the fun with my team, or collaborate with me in any way, buckle up!! Sometimes it’s like drinking from a firehose because I share A LOT, I know ... but I welcome you in 💯 percent PLUS some.

❤️ I have many long-term friendships. I keep in touch. I check in. You might be out of my sight, but you are not out of my mind.

❤️ I talk. It’s how I process. It might sound like I am complaining, but it’s just how I work through issues that need correcting and I always like a thinking partner to help me talk through those issues.

❤️ I have a strong work ethic. My expectations for myself, my family, my students, and colleagues are high.

❤️ I do not suffer fools gladly. While I am surprisingly a patient teacher, in my professional and personal lives ... folks, we don’t have time for anything but striving to be our best. Let’s go!!

Did you know that FROZEN GRAPES make a great healthy snack?

It's amazing how many times I hear "I didn't know you could freeze grapes!" when I share one of my favorite snacks with people.

They're low-calorie and low-fat, which makes them a great snack food. Frozen grapes offer a healthy choice over other frozen treats. This also brings out their natural sweetness and crunch. They are the perfect refreshing snack - especially on a hot summer day!

For easiest eating, it's best to freeze seedless grapes. Stock up on grapes at your local supermarket when they're on sale.

Wash your grapes, and dry them. Then, spread them out on a freezer-safe sheet or baking pan lined with parchment or wax paper and cover with plastic wrap - or, use a freezer-safe, reusable zip bag like the one here - I have a million of these just for freezing things like grapes or bananas and spinach for quick smoothie add-ins! You can write the date on a piece of tape and stick it on a re-usable bag before popping in the freezer. Freeze at least eight hours.

You can store them in the freezer for up to a year, and they can be eaten directly from the freezer! …or you can add them to a sweet recipe.

You would think they would be hard to chew, but they are still fairly soft, even when frozen! (If they happen to freeze solid, just let them thaw on your counter for 10-15 minutes before eating). Enjoy!

Just make sure you keep your grapes away from your dogs (and cats too) - they are toxic for them!

Ten, almost eleven years ago, I needed a way to make expressing my love language, GIFT GIVING, easier and more affordable. My sons were ages 8, 5, and 4. They were silly and wild, so going out into the stores to carefully shop for birthday gifts and Christmas presents was difficult with my three little monkeys. 🙈 🙉 🙊 I chose Thirty-One Gifts because I could design CUSTOMIZED GIFTS and get a discount while giving. Wow! Now, I celebrate, encourage, and reward friends, insiders, and my teammates. I love my utility tote! This one item helps me all day long!

👚 I cleaned out my sons’ closets. It held all the items they have outgrown, and it helped me get them to the donation center. I love using it for clutter control for tasks like this.
🛒 After I dropped off the donations, my tote and I went to the grocery store. I put it inside my cart and filled it as we shopped. I checked out and used it to carry the items to my car. No plastic bags!! …and everything stayed in place in the trunk as I drove home.
🏈 I put the groceries away and packed up for some sports! The tote helped me transport my tailgating essentials!

Today was not my best day. From dawn to dusk, it was full of worry. As I was leaving a late day appointment, I found this penny (“on heads”) in my path. (I didn’t notice it as I walked into the appointment, but nevertheless, I discovered it later.) It might be silly, but finding this made me smile, and yes, I picked it up for good luck. 👉🏻Would you have stopped to pick up the penny?
