Northeast Express Medical Transportation, LLC is hiring full-time Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Drivers in Clinton, and Essex Counties - and surrounding areas! Ditch your manual labor or desk job and come drive with us! Pay is $18-$21/hr depending on experience. Seeking a Professional Driver / Operator for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Ambulette for our St. Lawrence County Clients

Jon Description

We provide exceptional NEMT services throughout Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Warren, Hamilton and St. Lawrence Counties. You will drive our company owned passenger van and transport clients in St. Lawrence County area in a safe and reliable manner. On a scheduled basis, you will successfully perform picking up all clients on time and delivering them to their destinations safely. Please note all applicants are subject to a background check and drug test. Must also pass a background screening, DOT physical and NYS 19-A requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Effectively communicate with dispatch regarding schedule progress and to receive instructions.

Must be proficient with virtual communications, i.e. smart phone messaging, online calendars, mobile time clock phone application, and mobile GPS (Google Maps)

Maintain a professional image and attitude in regard to clients, coworkers and the general public.

Complete daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Assist clients as needed to safely enter and exit the vehicle and to and from their destinations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay:

$18.00-20.00 per hour to start based on experience

Benefits:

Employer pays up to 50% Excellus Individual Gold Plan, and 100% of dental and vision insurance costs for employees working 20 hours or more a week.

Schedule:

Minimum of 20 hours per week to start. Schedule to be determined upon interview / hiring. Must be willing to take shifts at anytime as most client trips are scheduled with only a couple days notice (if that).

Qualifications:

-Driver's License (Required)

-Clean Driving Record with Abstract (Required)

-CDL Class C or higher with Passenger Endorsement (Required)

-High school or equivalent (Required)

-Driving: 1-year Commercial (Preferred)
