This damaged motor serves as a critical reminder to our customers and potential clients of the necessity for weekly, in-person inspections of bilges and related systems. A faulty bilge pump and overfilled bilge led to a stern thruster short circuit and subsequent fire on a Carver vessel. Our diligent staff identified the issue during scheduled checks and swiftly notified the owner and mechanics, averting disaster. I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the successful sea trial and subsequent delivery from Riverside Marina to Wacca Wache Marina. I extend my gratitude to Deese Marine Services for providing an exceptional mechanic who conducted the sea trial with utmost professionalism. The boat underwent comprehensive general maintenance, which included a fresh coat of paint, significantly enhancing its efficiency. It is imperative to emphasize the importance of regular maintenance for vessels; neglecting to schedule such upkeep can lead to unforeseen complications. When storms approach, many of you have hurricane plans for your boat. If your plan is not followed it could mean that your claim may not be paid! ( imagine an insurance company following their policy to a T ). There is still time to get on our list , we follow your Hurricane plan as supplied to us , take photos and stay in contact before,during, and after every event. We double lines and do all prep work. If it’s in your storm plan we can do it!
