Happy opening weekend to ! I loved the chocolate chip cookies Jordan made 15 years ago in my college dorm community kitchen, I’ve loved the 10 years of birthday party treats she’s made for my kids, I’ve loved getting to create for and with her along the way, and I’ve loved her friendship. ❤️ Unbelievably sweet to celebrate the next step in this new space! She’s worked so hard and no one deserves to be celebrated more. and I teamed up to create a mural for this space and we’re so proud of it and so happy (+ a little teary) to be a small part, again, of the magic Jordan has created. WE LOVE YOU.

If you’ve been around for any amount of time, you know and I love to combine our powers for maximum whimsy and fun and silliness. This is Tify, she’s our fluffy friend and the face of our newest little collab . After some late nights, one maker’s market, and lots of doodling, designing, and making with our hands, we’ve come up with some pretty delightful, easy-to-share gifts! We’re officially launching them online tomorrow (happy !) and sharing what’s in our silly little ready to go boxes. Tify doesn’t tap to clean (tbh she doesn’t do much), but she’s really cute and I want you to come see what she’s up to :)

In the midst of a world that feels scary and heavy and out of control, I’m doing what I can to control my small corner of the world; making a safe and happy place that I want to be and that I want to welcome others into. I’m doing things like learning to cook, making my own coffee daily, adding whimsical touches to my house. I’m making this space feel like mine. So many people have asked me (not a single person has asked me) to share some other things I’m doing to stay healthy and mindful during this time 🤍 here are some of my best practices:

•Scheduled time with my close friends
•Yoga poses incorrectly
•Consuming 4 shots of espresso every day
•Reading books by diverse voices (no men tho)
•Consuming 4 shots of water every day
•Telling my husband I’m anxious
•Wondering what mysterious illness I have
•Listening to music that makes me happy not on Alexa though because what if they’re listening?
•Whatever the opposite of gratitude journal is
•Scrolling my phone at full brightness in the dark every night
•Telling my husband I have a headache
•Wearing matching pajama sets
•Forgetting the laundry in the washing machine and having to wash it again
•Sertraline

Happy Father’s Day to my funny, smart, kind dad who hears and sees and loves everyone big. Thanks for making me a lover of books and strangers and committing to the bit. I’ll never stop embarrassing you by acting just like you (the ultimate joy). A great dad turned into a great Pop!

And happy Father’s Day to my kids’ favorite parent! I really really like being his partner in parenthood and watching him love our kids. He is fun and soft and safe and kind and they are (mostly) those things too because of him. 💕
