🙏🏽Initial blending of my 2022 Fumé Blanc Barrel Trials was a success.🙏🏽
🔜3 months in barrel for a few of these babies and one that stood far above the rest to be laid to sleep for 6.
🔜Tank to go to cold and heat stabilization.
This Sauvignon Blanc project embodies everything that could and did go wrong for my first harvest. A lot of heartache, headaches, mental breakdowns, cars breaking down, logistics fumbled, learning curves jumped, and loneliness in starting this wine company. There were major ups and major downs. Mother Nature was definitely against me many times as well. Some days I thought everything that was bad that happened to me was meant to throw me off my game and out of the industry, but the cosmic timing of the universe laid the path for me to stay the race. It was hard beyond belief but tasting through these beautiful barrel trials and yeast trails has really boosted that drive back up after a treacherous harvest. The tropical nectars created have instilled in me that I have what it takes, and the goals I have are within grasp. My words to anyone starting this journey with someone else or alone, “Just stay the course and your dreams with bloom into fruition, it’ll be pressure all day every day but pressure creates diamonds in its folds. And your product will be that diamond in the rough to the people that matter to you.”

💥All three helped with the blending session last night and came up with beautiful iterations all across the board. With such a small Fumé project they made so many beautiful blends out of the 5 barrels, all vastly different, and beautifully balanced! Cannot thank them enough!💥
