What are the rules for the Salt Creek Trail? Can I bring my bike, scooter, dog?

In short: nothing motorized except wheelchairs. No horses. Dogs welcome on leash.

The video shown is from phase 3 of the trail (Brown County State Park toward Nashville: about .75 miles).

The rules photo is from phase 1 of the trail (Nashville CVS to the YMCA: also about .75 miles) since the new rules sign isn’t up on the state park side yet - but I did confirm that the rules are the same on both sections.

The Bean Blossom Overlook is a beautiful roadside stop with scenic views a few minutes north of Nashville. So what’s going on there now?

There used to be a shelterhouse at the overlook, but it was torn down several years ago. Over the past several months, the Brown County Woodworking Club has been building a new shelterhouse for visitors to enjoy.

You may still notice the construction tape up, but I’ve been told the roofing materials have arrived and the roof should be completed within the next couple of weeks! 🎉🎉🎉

Last night’s storm dropped some debris and a few trees at the state park. They had the main road clear by 9am though. Kudos to the state park crew! 🙌🏻
