I visited the famous Quiapo Market in Manila, Philippines with one goal—to buy a Pilipinas jersey. Sounds easy, right? Unfortunately, everyone I asked gave me different directions! 🤣

Along the way I met one of the funniest tricycle drivers I’ve ever met. He confidently pointed me in the “right” direction… but it turned out to be completely wrong! Even though I never found the jersey, I discovered something much better: unforgettable people, hilarious moments, and the incredible energy of Quiapo.

This is why I love traveling in the Philippines. Sometimes getting lost leads to the best adventures.

I was exploring Baclaran Market near Baclaran Church in Manila when I met one of the funniest fruit vendors I’ve ever encountered. He had me laughing the whole time and convinced me to try Siniguelas and Lanzones for the very first time. The people, the energy, and the local fruits made this an unforgettable experience. Have you ever tried either of these fruits?

I wanted a dining table, so my friend Jerome and I headed into the mountains to cut bamboo and build one from scratch! We harvested the bamboo, cut it, shaped it, and turned it into a complete dining table with matching benches. I never expected it to turn out this good.

Would you eat dinner at a bamboo table like this?
