RTA stands ready to support the City of New Orleans including NOHSEP and NOLA Ready as the City leads hurricane preparedness efforts for New Orleans - which includes the City Assisted Evacuation Plan. Effective collaboration is essential to ensuring the safety of our senior citizens and vulnerable populations during hurricane season. We recognize the value of preparedness during each hurricane season. With the unpredictability of weather patterns, having a comprehensive emergency transportation plan in place is more important than ever. Whether you’re headed to work or to watch a second line, RTA’s got you covered. Today, (May 31), at 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Ole & Nu Style Fellas second line is happening, and that means lots of activity near the route that may affect your ride (or your drive).

Lines Affected: 8, 51, 52, 55, 57, 84 & 91.

Remember that, because second lines have a rhythm of their own, routes and end points can—and do—shift in real-time. Expect delays and detours throughout the event. For up-to-the-minute info: • Call Rideline: (504) 248-3900 • Check the Le Pass app • Visit norta.com/servicealerts • Follow on X Want the full 2025 second line season schedule? It’s on our “Changes That May Affect Your Ride” page.
