Turn Services Turn Services provides inland waterways barge lines with fleeting, inspection, cleaning, repair, & more. In 2004, a merger was forged with Associated Terminals.

Turn Services was founded in 1990 to service the inland waterways industry with fleeting, inspection, cleaning, repair, pumping, cover handling and shifting services. At the time of the merger, Turn Services owned one towboat and one fleet. The company currently owns eighteen towboats, five full service fleets and six launch boats. While Turn Services has grown in scope and service since 1990, it

remains strongly committed to expeditiously meeting its customers’ waterborne
transportation needs. The Company embraces environmental, health and safety objectives as core business values. As Turn Services looks to the future, it will continue to be an industry leader in innovation and service while maintaining the professionalism and efficiency which its clients expect and appreciate.

During his 11 years with Turn Services, Regis has developed the steady judgment needed to navigate challenging conditions—from high water and fog to tight maneuvers on the river. His approach is simple but essential: take your time, know what you’re doing and stay “sure-handed, sure-footed and sure-minded.”

Save the date for one of our favorite family traditions!

Associated Terminals and Turn Services team members and their families are invited to join us for our annual Fall Fun Day at the Audubon Zoo on Saturday, October 24.

Since we’ll be celebrating the Saturday before Halloween, costumes are highly encouraged for kids and adults alike! Come ready for a fun day at the zoo featuring lunch catered by Dickie Brennan & Co., snoballs, face painting, caricature artists and plenty more for the whole family to enjoy.

And if you’re scheduled to work that day, don’t let that stop your family from joining the fun — send them out to enjoy the day on us!

This event is exclusively for Associated Terminals and Turn Services team members and their families. A formal invitation with RSVP information and additional details will follow soon.

Congratulations to the crews of the M/V Pento, M/V Benny G, and the entire Port Arthur, Texas Fleet on achieving 2 Years Safe as part of our Destination Zero program!

Reaching two years without a recordable incident is a reflection of the commitment, professionalism, and teamwork demonstrated by every member of the Port Arthur operation. The M/V Affirmed and M/V Blackbeard recently worked with the Associated rigs alongside a ship at the Arabi Buoys in Chalmette, Louisiana, completing several rig-to-rig lifts.
