So…..
Yesterday was my last day in Outside Lawn and Garden. Come Monday - I start as the new Department Supervisor (Manager) for Plumbing and Electric. Lol - yes you heard that right - ME - Managing the plumbing and electric departments. lol. 😂 My father must be in hysterics up there. Last image is of my office for today’s Disney Cruise Line guests. IYKYK. Things are lining up! After one year down here - this week was the first time I felt like I could take a moment and breathe. More news on th audiobook front coming soon too!

I’ve landed…
From 1999-2001 I landed my first contract with Disney Cruise Line. Leaving there I knew I’d be back in some fashion. Here I am - 25 years - back at it.
This is just the beginning!!!
The kid in me is just a bit giddy right now.

It has officially begun! Returning to Disney has been a goal for quite some time. I saw my path diverte from goals of Broadway, away from Education and performing in general so heading home to Disney was tickeling my brain.
Those who are my followers know that the last several years I have been applying for positions with WDW, Disney Imagineering, Disney Live Entertainment and of course Disney Cruise line. But nothing panned out. Never even given an interview. Companies hire from within for those roles and it wasn’t in the cards for me.
I decided to put the ego aside and start from the ground up. With that said, I start my “toe in the door” position as Disney Cruise Line Representative (Guest Relations) at the Airport and Resorts. I say “toe in the door” because it’s only 6 days per month. Yep - six days. As that would be my schedule I am staying with Lowe’s full time until opportunities arise at Disney where I can move up to a full time position in the Entertainment Division.
I hit Traditions on July 9 and then training the following week.
Let my Disney Life begin!
Yes - I’m a 57 year old Disneyfile lol.

How’s the weather up North my Philly peeps? Been a busy week with auditions and planning. Today Phase 2 of “Sappy Travels to Florida” began. Met with a realtor to discuss my wants & needs for my own home. We start viewing them the end of the month so my deposit can go down early December with a January move in.
Limbo is almost over - my new home is close to happening. Now to get. Someone to drive a 20+ foot U-Haul truck back down to Florida with me come January. Any takers!? No - I’m serious! Now - to enjoy the calm.

While I haven’t been running these last two years (was a bit preoccupied lol) these folks have my heart. The running team for runDisney events I’ve run with. The encouragement, support, love and friendship that is here is amazing. Congrats to Bob Raichle Alysia Greg and the rest of the team for slaying!! Next year - I’m in! Started my training now. Gonna take me that long to get ready. Have a great 1/2 tomorrow. May the wind be at your back and sun out of your eyes.

Now that the contract has been signed I’m happy to announce officially that yesterday I was signed to Brevard Talent Group here in Orlando. Very excited to be getting a solid footing here as I start this “Second Act” of my life’s journey.

Ok folks. Thank you all for the input! I knew I’d get some good feedback which helped me hone in on a look that I’m happy with.

I AM keeping the owl (yes Bob Falkenstein it’s an owl not a penguin lol)
Took out the crooked mouth.
The problem I feel was happening was the scale. Scaled down the image to match the height of the lettering.
So thank you for your input
PLEASE know that it’s appreciated but you can now hold off on the things you “don’t” like about it. I know - “Why post it then” I got the creative details I needed. Now for me to move with it.
Too many cooks in the kitchen spoil the pot. lol.
So ….here it is……..

Now onto week two of my move it’s time to get to work. Well, I’ve actually already applied for two jobs with Disney Cruise Line and auditioned for two more audiobooks. Send me some good vibes on Wednesday as there’s something really great/important taking place for me around 2330. So keep the good energy.

So with that said it’s time to get Wise Man Productions up and running. One of the things I want to new is start all new - and that begins with marketing. I’ve redesigned the logo. Not sure if these are something that you as a consumer would respond to. So I’m going to do a poll on which one of these folks respond”speak to you”. I’m not locked in on any one of them - just not sure which direction to go. So…..your thoughts?

Last night was goodbye dinner with Mary Drager, George, Gina M D’Aloisio and Cathy Pregmon (Cathy you’ll be in the next pic on the 10th) and a “Thank you for letting me live with you” dinner with Vincent Leonard and Lauri Leonard. So grateful for these people who are truly my family. These are just a few of the people got me through one of the hardest times of my life. Oh and Lisa McCusker Sherer we forgot to get a pic today at lunch - but will see you on the 10th as well. ❤️
