2026 Summer

A too short fleeting trip to Michigan for a wedding - the wedding was at the newly restored Michigan Cebtral Train Station. A majestic building that was sitting idle and now has be beautifully restored. At every turn the building I felt was telling us about its past glory and the various multitude of people who must have passed through these doors. The Graffiti has been retained in some parts and I found that endearing and historical. Tours are available for this beautiful building which now houses corporate offices. The building was a perfect back stop for a couple whose roots are Michigan and so glad they had it there. Must see if you are in this neighborhood.

2026 Summer

Presenting some memories of a beautiful summer evening on the water at Boston. Boston can be very cold in the winter but Summer is magical in Boston, especially in the Seaport area by the water. Sometimes I feel@we live for summer and the promise of longer days filled with Vitamin D.

2026 Japan Trip

Day 6

On my last day I took a morning walk around the neighborhood my hotel was in taking in the various sights and sounds one last time before I left.

Japan is an incredible country - my first experience was extremely positive and encouraging. There is much to see and do here making it one of our destination list of must see countries. I hope to be back to visit this country in much more leisure. Until then Sayonara Japan !

2026 Japan

Day 5 Part 2

We went out to dinner with our colleagues at the Tokyo Station and it was like another city in itself with multiple shops restaurants and cafes… you could spend the whole day there and still not cover everything… ofcourse trains do leave from here too….

After that based on a recommendation we visited the Don Quijote store in Ginza ! I know that many people are fans of this store but I am not. I found it too overwhelming confusing and really not quality worthy. It reminded me of the dollar stores in the US and that was not my vibe… but like everything else it’s an experience.

Steps on Day 5 close to 15k. Trip is almost at an end now… time to go home !!!
