This is an accompaniment for the solidarity economy with the Kogui and Arhuaca indigenous communities located in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia, from the NGO these communities obtain part of their livelihood through the preparation and distribution of mochilas.

According to previous investigations, it was determined that of the two types of mochilas that they make (maguey and wool), wool mochilas have the disadvantage of an ecological impact of deforestation in this area due to the browsing activity of sheep, which is why together with these communities, we want to rescue the tradition of the maguey mochila.
