The idea behind VivaCaribe was born after showing some visiting friends around in the Dominican Republic. The goal was that friends visiting left there with a genuine excitement of seeing and experiencing something new. Whether it was beaches, food or culture, I made sure they got the most out of their time in my country. Now VivaCaribe would like to do the same for you. Whenever I travel to a new
place I always want to combine the fun with the authentic; something that makes me understand the place or country I visit. My belief is that travellers want to eat at the actual local restaurants, visit that beach no one mentions on the internet and get to know the people that live there. When booking a trip to the Caribbean most tourists opt to stay at a resort. While this might be the goal for some, many others might choose differently if they knew what they are missing. VivaCaribe wants to show you that there is a lot more to see outside those resort walls.
