Be sure to re-pot your house plants into plastic containers. This way, your nice ceramic pots won't crack or break during your move.
Remember to do this a few weeks before moving day, so your plants have time to adjust. 😉

If you're planning on moving long distance, Match Up Movers strongly suggest practicing being in the car with your fur babies so they're ready for drive!
Also, if your pet normally travels in a carrier, try buying one that's a size bigger so they don't get claustrophobic.

Before your big day, be sure to prep all your furniture!
Take out the drawers from your dressers or desks, make sure everything is completely empty, and pack all loose items in labeled boxes! 📦

On your big day, avoid wearing clothing that is loose or baggy that may get caught on boxes, furniture, or your moving truck.

Also, wear closed-toe shoes for your feet like sneakers instead of sandals or flip-flops. Not doing so may reduce your balance and mobility as you move. Safety first!
