This year, I made a decision to become laser-focused on building businesses that create lasting impact, not just content that performs well online.

For me, that looks like serving couples with excellence through Pure Timeless Unions, creating unforgettable ceremonies, and helping people begin one of the most important chapters of their lives.

It also means investing in the next generation of officiants through The Officiant Blueprint, teaching others how to build a professional, profitable, and purpose-driven officiant business.

One of the biggest mistakes a new officiant can make is forgetting to return the completed marriage license after the ceremony.

In New York City, the officiant is responsible for returning the original marriage license to the City Clerk’s Marriage Bureau within 5 days of the wedding ceremony.

This simple step ensures:
💍 Your couple’s marriage is legally recorded.
📜 The marriage certificate can be processed without unnecessary delays.
🤝 You maintain professionalism and comply with New York law.

Why? Because once the ceremony is over, the marriage license needs to be mailed to the City Clerk. Having stamps on hand means you can seal the envelope and send it out immediately—no delays, no last-minute trips to the post office, and no risk of forgetting.
