Its been a hard few years for most of us.The first few "Wonky Hearts Club" pieces will be available Saturday at Charleston Night Bazaar.

We will all experience a wide variety of losses, wounds and grief. This is one of the most brutal and yet sometimes beautiful parts of the human experience. I enjoy working with wood and often find hidden knots, bark inclusions and other scars that tell the story of the tree. When a tree loses a limb, it allows itself to grow around it. Some wounds that we endure will never go away, but like the trees lost limb, will become part of who we are.

These Wonky Heart pieces are designed to be a reminder of the pains and losses we endure as they become part of our person. These pieces are an invitation to take note of these wounds and allow life to grow around them. This is The Wonky Hearts Club. Let your Wonky Heart shine!
