Ariel Meyerowitz, Private Dealer and Art Advisor, specializes in 20th Century vintage and contemporary photography, painting, prints and works-on-paper. In addition to representing select photographers and estates, the focus of her art advisory is to counsel novice and experienced collectors as well as corporations on starting or expanding collections through a process of education, presentation,

and acquisition. With visits to artists’ studios, galleries, art fairs and auctions, Ariel helps the client navigate through the often-intimidating art world, and oversees all aspects of acquisition from research, invoicing, framing, installation, shipping, to insurance. Ariel has worked in the art community for nearly 20 years and until 2006 had owned her eponymous photography gallery, first in SoHo and then Chelsea, for 6 years.
