KEY POINTS:
💻Who Must Comply: Importers, domestic manufacturers, and private labelers of CPSC-regulated consumer products.
📅Effective Dates: July 8, 2026 (direct imports); January 8, 2027 (FTZ entries).
📝What’s Required: Certificates of Compliance must be electronically filed with CBP at entry, not just “accompany” shipments.
👷Responsibility: The importer of record is legally accountable for the certificate.
🚴Scope of Products: Any consumer product subject to CPSC safety standards (e.g., toys, apparel, household goods, electronics, sporting goods, textiles, chemicals).
