There’s nothing better than hearing that the only thing a client would change about their trip is adding another day. 🇫🇷✨

This Paris & Ch*****ne getaway had so many memorable moments...incredible private guides, visits to both large and small Ch*****ne houses, time to wander through Reims, a beautiful hotel in the perfect location, Moulin Rouge, evenings taking in the Eiffel Tower from Trocadéro, and some truly special dining experiences.

One of my favorite details? Dinner on the terrace overlooking Notre Dame — the kind of moment that stays with you long after you come home.

And behind all of those experiences, the little things mattered too: seamless airport transfers and train travel, knowledgeable guides who took extra time with them, thoughtfully paced touring, and enough flexibility to explore along the way.

Their one regret? Not staying an extra day just to walk, shop, eat and drink a little more.

I’d say Paris did its job. ❤️

The Friend I Never Expected to Find in Turks & Caicos

One of the greatest souvenirs I've ever brought home from a trip wasn't something I packed in my suitcase.

It was a friendship.

Last year, I was invited by American Airlines to attend the opening celebration of Salterra, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, South Caicos. It was a small gathering of travel advisors from around the country, and one of the people I met was from Nebraska.

We clicked almost immediately.

After the event, we went back to our lives—she in Nebraska, me in Rhode Island—figuring our paths probably wouldn't cross again.

Fast forward a year.

On our first night back in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos, I posted a simple Instagram/Facebook Story:

"So glad to be home."

A few minutes later, my phone buzzed.

"Wait...I'm at Salterra in South Caicos!"

Out of all the places in the world, we had unknowingly planned family vacations to the same tiny island at the exact same time.

A couple of days later, our families spent a few days together...riding bikes through South Caicos, spotting wild donkeys and horses, sharing meals at local favorites like Sunset Café and Triple J's, and laughing as if we'd known each other for years.

Before we said goodbye, we both agreed...

I think we were meant to meet.

People often ask me why I love to travel.

Yes, it's the places.

Yes, it's the hotels. (I looooovvvve the hotels!)

But every now and then, travel gives you something you never expected.

A friendship.

And to me, that's one of the greatest gifts a journey can offer.
