It’s an extraordinary thing to spend a century bringing joy into the world.

A man whose legacy stretches far beyond the screen and straight into the hearts of generations.
You danced across rooftops, stepped out of chalk drawings, and reminded us that imagination has no expiration date. And somehow, even after a lifetime of doing that for millions, you still radiate joy in everything you do.
At 100 years old, you are living proof that joy is a choice; that magic doesn’t fade, it multiplies; and that being gentle in this world is a powerful thing.
When we had the unbelievable opportunity to spend an afternoon with you, history met the present in the most beautiful way. A little boy who loves fiercely, believes wholeheartedly, and found his magic in a nanny, a chimney sweep, and a world where kindness always wins…got to meet the man who taught all of us how to believe in the first place.
You didn’t just give him a birthday memory, you showed him what it looks like to lead with kindness.
To grow older without losing your light.
To show up with joy, again and again.
And today, at Disney World, Tristan couldn’t wait to return the favor. He sang with his whole heart and told everyone he saw that it was your birthday.
Thank you for the songs, the laughter, the leaps across rooftops; and most of all, for the humanity behind it all.
You are pure joy in human form. A legend. A treasure.
