So yesterday we did a thing 🤣 After surviving 6.5yrs on the road, 32 states, 57 national park sites, over 40K miles, 3 rig, 11 mechanical failures, 7 blow outs and 1 lightening strike, a tiny virus made us buy a house.
For those who don't know us personally, this was always in the plan for the future, just not this soon or on this scale.
With Sarah heading off to college next fall, we had said for years we would buy property to park the rig on or get a condo for her to use for school.
When COVID struck it reminded us very quickly that we didn't enter this lifestyle to live in 350sq ft because we loved tiny home living, we put up with the sacrifice of the small space for the love of the adventure. With so much uncertainty, we decided to move our plans up a bit and get a space that we will all enjoy.
Will we still travel? Absolutely! We aren't selling the motorhome and are looking forward to getting back on the road part time when things settle back down and more fulltime travel after we get Sarah launched.
Where did you settle down? In our happy place °0° we are about 20mins from Disney in Winter Garden.
Do you have a space to park the rig? No....its a gated resort community with insane HOA rules.
