When people think of Alaskan wildlife, they usually expect bears, moose, or eagles... but today in Fairbanks, we went hunting for “pigs”! 🐷✨

Stopping by the Alyeska Pipeline just outside Fairbanks, we got an up-close look at the incredible Trans-Alaska Pipeline—and learned all about the massive "pigs" that travel inside it!
These clever devices travel through the 800-mile pipeline with the moving oil to scrape the interior walls clean, monitor the structure with ultrasonic signals, and keep everything safe and running smoothly.
Getting up close to engineering marvels like this—surrounded by Alaska’s endless wilderness—is the kind of detail that makes group travel so unforgettable. There’s nothing quite like exploring these iconic spots together, sharing the "did you know?" moments, and creating great memories as a group.
