A little life update! 🏡

I’ve been a little quiet around here because we officially packed up and moved from Oklahoma to TEXAS! 🤠

Between unpacking, getting the kids settled, starting a new school and now attempting my first home project, it’s been a little chaotic! 😂

But the travel planning hasn’t stopped! ✈️ Still booking vacations and getting clients ready for their upcoming adventures!

A little behind the scenes of a travel advisor this week… ✈️💻

It’s only Thursday, but apparently we’ve been BUSY over here. 🏃‍♀️

Since Monday:

🇯🇵 Booked a multi-city Japan trip for next month
🛳️ Booked 2 cabins for a family of 5 cruising in May
💍 Sent luxury honeymoon and birthday getaway options for May
🍂 Quoted Boston/Salem for fall break and a February friend getaway
🎒 Checked in with my solo traveler currently making her way through Scotland and Ireland
🍽️ Coordinated upcoming resort dinner reservations
👻 Finalized the last details for our Savannah girls trip!

And that cruise booking today? We accidentally booked the wrong sailing. 😅 We caught it immediately and got everything switched with no penalties! 🙌

I also had to cancel 2 trips due to unexpected health issues. ❤️‍🩹 I’m glad I could handle the travel details and take some of that stress off their plate while they focus on recovering.

Meanwhile, I drove back from Texas Monday morning, handled Liam’s school transfer for our move, squeezed in a Monday night Zoom and have another training tonight. 😵‍💫

Oklahoma is about to show off… 🍂

You don’t have to hop on a plane to find a pretty fall getaway! Oklahoma has some seriously underrated spots once the leaves start changing.

A few to keep on your radar:

🍁 Talimena Scenic Drive — mountain views and one of the prettiest fall drives in the state
🥾 Beavers Bend State Park — cabins, hiking, kayaking and cozy Hochatown weekends
🌲 Robbers Cave State Park — colorful trails, overlooks and a little Oklahoma history
💦 Turner Falls — waterfalls surrounded by fall color
🏕️ Medicine Park + Wichita Mountains — hiking, wildlife and the cutest little cobblestone town

Late October into early November is typically when southern and eastern Oklahoma really start showing off, although peak color always depends on the weather.

Give me a cabin (or glamping tent), a firepit, a cup of coffee and a chilly morning and I’m HAPPY! 🪵🔥☕️
