As the season draws to a close for most of our species, we have a few individuals that are seeking new farms to call home. All are perfectly healthy and in good feather. We are happy to discuss all of the details via private messages!

Today’s nest inspection revealed a disappointing find- only a single Bronzewing squab. The remains of the second squab were found on the ground of the flight and it was apparent that it likely fell from the nest only a day or so ago. Unfortunately, I have been managing the farm alone and have not had time to do daily inspections. Would that have made a difference? Hard to say. Things don’t always go the way we hope! 😢.

UPDATE- She has been placed. Thanks so much for all the response over her!

We have a special little Green aracari that is just about ready for a new family. She is a bit “special needs” as she had a physical injury while very young that has resulted in a minor deficit. We’ve waited to post her until we could see just how well she finished out. She perches, hops, and flies just fine (as well as a baby flies at this point🤣), and has perfect mental acuity. We think she will be a fantastic pet.

If you would like more information about her please contact us privately. This is not a free rehoming situation, however there will be a reduction in cost.

The Bronzewing squabs are growing FAST! And mom is a lot more harsh defending that nest than dad is!! 🤣🤣

The Bronzewing doves have successfully hatched both squabs in this clutch!! 🙌🙌👏👏

You think your birds go through cuttlebone?? 🤣🤣. Watch this Leopard tortoise (Stigmochelys pardalis) power through these cuttlebones like they are celery! This big girl has laid 77 eggs so far this year and loves getting her calcium levels replenished.

Such a deceptive look of calm 🥰😄. These Green aracari boys just finished breakfast and are taking a quick nap before returning to their voracious selves! 🤣🤣. They will be ready to go to new homes in just a few weeks. Contact us through private messenger to discuss adding one of them to your family!
