Don’t worry—we’re not going anywhere! While we won’t be hosting additional open houses this summer, business will continue as usual. The shop will remain available for private appointments and online order pickups throughout July, so you’ll still have plenty of ways to browse and restock your favorites.
Summer is a special time for our family, and I love having the opportunity to slow down, enjoy time with my kids, tackle a few projects around the house, and recharge before the busy fall and holiday season begins.

Hi everyone! A little update on my shoulder surgery and our next shop opening—
So many of you have reached out over the last couple of weeks to check on me and wish me a smooth recovery, and I truly can’t thank you enough. During those first few days of being laid up and not moving much (which tbh was driving me a little crazy), your messages brought me much comfort and peace. I always say I have the most thoughtful, compassionate, and incredible customers—but when life throws something hard at my family, I’m reminded all over again just how true that really is.
I’m happy to share that surgery went even better than expected, and with each day I’ve been feeling more like myself again. I still have some limited mobility, but I’m officially out of the sling and start PT next week—which feels like such a big step forward.
It seems like the next few weeks-all of a sudden?-are packed full of those special opportunities to show some love and appreciation (think Mother’s Day, teacher, nurse, coach etc). Which is why it feels like the perfect time to open things back up and help you get a head start on thoughtful gifts for those who make such a difference in our lives.
I know this isn’t a ton of advance notice, but I’ll be opening the shop this next weekend

I’ll also have availability for shop appointments on Monday + Wednesday.

La Vie en Lilac ✺

Spring has officially arrived—and with it, our first scent of the season!

La Vie en Lilac or Life in Lilac was inspired by the quiet beauty of early spring. Soft lilac blossoms, layered with calming lavender and a touch of bright lemon, this candle is a gentle reminder that renewal is finally here. Lilac symbolizes hope and new beginnings and after the long winter we’ve all endured, a little nudge toward softer, brighter days is more than welcome.

With lilacs being one of my absolute favorite flowers, this one feels especially close to home—I can’t wait for you to experience it in person.

Family is always at the heart of MYH Soy Candle, and every few months, we realize it’s time to step away from our pouring table and head out for dedicated family time to rest, recharge, and find fresh inspiration for the beautiful season ahead! Before we take off this next week, we wanted to update everyone on our availability.

The Details:

🗓️ We Will Be Closed: Saturday, Feb 28th – Tuesday, March 10th.

📦 Last Call for Orders: We have availability for online orders (shipping or shop pickup) through this Friday, Feb 27th! Orders placed while we’re away are always welcome! They will be the very first ones we carefully hand-pour and pack the moment we return. 🕯️

👋 Come Visit Us: Want to sniff and shop in person before we go? DM, email, or text me to schedule a private appointment this week—I’d love to see you and have lot’s of availability this Friday.

Spring is Coming to the Shop: I have finally finished restocking all the new melters and spring décor, and the shop is looking so good. I can’t wait for you to see it!

Happy New Year Everyone!

I hope you all had the opportunity to enjoy time with loved ones and savor those cozy moments together. We returned this last weekend from an epic family trip to Montana and are getting back into the swing of things. For those that placed orders while we were off, thank you for being so patient and understanding of the delay in shipping/pick up. I am working to get all orders packed and shipped by tomorrow.

The biggest news at the moment for MYH, is the closing of Kipert’s Korner feed. For those who have not heard, Kipert’s will officially be closing their doors January 31st. The news was sudden, and closure date has been swift. I am devastated to say the least. Those gals have become friends and each week they brighten my day when I restock. I can honestly say that their endorsement of our candles over the years (especially my first year), was one of the key factors for our success and in the years that have followed they have always shown support and enthusiasm for all we do. I told them that I would keep them stocked until the end. They have been doing massive close-out sales and although the other shelves are clearing out, MYH will remain fully stocked as long as they will have us.

As of today, all of the holiday scents have been removed and we have those fresh scents to kick start the new year.

If you are in the area in the upcoming weeks, please stop in to Kiperts, say hello, and tell them how awesome they are. I was in today and they are still greeting customers with that smile we love and helping the best they can.

I know how convenient it was to have a place to stop in and stock up during regular business hours and I am looking at all options to figure out the best way we can provide that to you all. Please stay tuned for more information regarding shop openings in February and potential weeknight openings. If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to send them my way.

As our family prepares to celebrate the season and enjoy some time off together, we wanted to wish you all the coziest of holidays—filled with warmth, rest, and time spent with the people you hold dear.

Cherishing those meaningful moments at home are at the heart of why we do what we do, and we’re truly honored whenever MYH gets to be a small part of your story.

Beginning December 16th, any orders placed on our website will be available for pickup or shipping starting January 5th.
