“Truly the most incredible experience!! Seriously Elisha, you absolutely NAILED this!!! We cannot thank you enough for helping us plan the most incredible honeymoon. I genuinely can’t believe we’re in a place this amazing with every little detail already planned out for us, especially when we had absolutely no time to think about any of it with the wedding. You made this so easy and so special for us. We seriously cannot thank you enough!!! This is a trip we will remember forever and ever!”

This is exactly why I love what I do. Getting to pour so much care into Morgan & Eli’s Maldives honeymoon and then seeing them light up like this makes every detail worth it. I am so thankful for clients like these two, who trust me with something this meaningful and let me be part of their story. Moments like this are the whole reason I started Moments That Matter!! Not going to lie, I teared up when I received Morgan's text 🥹

Picture this… you tell me you want Ireland to feel like a memory, not a checklist. I’d skip Dublin altogether and take you west instead...

Galway City hits you in color first… painted storefronts, a fiddle spilling out of some pub doorway before you’ve even found your hotel.

Instead of a quick photo stop at the Cliffs of Moher, I’d have you arrive at sunrise. Just you, the wind, and 700 feet of Atlantic cliffside with no one else around yet. That’s the moment you’d still be talking about years later.

I’d choose Connemara over another night in the city, because there’s a version of Ireland that only exists in the bogs and lakes out west… quiet, wild, and a little bit magic, with Kylemore Abbey rising right out of the water like something from a storybook.

And instead of a standard hotel, I’d have you sleep at Ashford Castle… an 800 year old castle on the edge of Lough Corrib, once home to the Guinness family, now the kind of place where falconry and afternoon tea are just part of a normal day.

And instead of rushing the drive south, I’d build in slow time through the Ring of Kerry and Di**le. Sheep on the hillsides. Fishing villages that spill right into the sea. Views that change every time the road bends.

This is why I don’t just book flights and hotels. I build the version of the trip that actually matches the story you want to feel like you’re living.

If Ireland is calling you, let’s talk about which version of the story is yours 💌

"We already did Greece."

I hear this more than you'd think. Someone did the classic trip years ago, Santorini sunsets, Mykonos beach clubs, a blur of white and blue, and it was incredible. Genuinely one of the best trips of their life.

But here's the thing: that was one beautiful chapter of Greece. Not the whole story.

Because there's another side of the country waiting, the one locals actually live in. It's Paros, where the old Byzantine walking path still connects mountain villages the way it did centuries ago. It's the Peloponnese, where centuries-old fortresses stand quietly over the water and stone villages tell a completely different story than anything in the Cyclades. It's a hilltop retreat with olive groves stretching to the horizon and not another tourist in sight.

The islands you visit should change depending on where you are in your love affair with a place. Your first Greece trip is about falling for it. Your second is about going deeper, quieter, further into the country's heart.

So if you've "done Greece" already, that's not a reason to skip it next time you're planning a trip. It's the reason to go back.

Where would you want to go back to?

ok can we talk about winter break for a sec

I just booked a family for the Florida Keys and I’ve got another one deciding between Hawaii and Mexico for Christmas ... and every time someone tells me “we’re thinking about maybe doing something,” I have to gently remind them that flights and resorts for peak dates are not waiting around for us to decide.

If your family has been kicking around a winter break trip and hasn’t pulled the trigger yet, now’s the window.

If that’s your family, I’d love to help you figure it out ... just send a message!

The best compliment I can get isn’t “we had fun.” It’s “I didn’t have to think about anything.”

This family just got back from Disneyland and Universal Studios, and here’s what they told me:

“I did not expect the trip to be so stress-free! From the moment we landed, everything was smooth and easy. Our rental car and hotel were ready for us, and everything went exactly as planned. We had a question about a reservation while on vacation, and when we reached out, I got the info immediately.”

This is the whole point of what I do. You’re not paying me to hand you a list of hotels. You’re paying me so that when something comes up mid-trip, you’re not the one scrambling to fix it. I am.

Stress-free family travel is possible. It just takes someone in your corner before you leave and while you’re there.

Thank you, Velazquez family, for trusting me with this one. ❤️

If you’re already dreaming about your next family trip, send me a message. Let’s make it easy.

The Switzerland nobody told me about.

I always pictured snow, chocolate, maybe a cuckoo clock. Then I found Ticino, the Italian-speaking corner tucked in the south, where palm trees line the lakes and the towns look like they got lost on their way to Lake Como.

Lugano. Locarno. Mountain villages stacked above turquoise water. Gelato that tastes like it crossed the border illegally. It’s Switzerland, but it forgot to be Swiss about it.

It’s been sitting on my list for a while now, and the more I dig into it, the harder it is to leave it there. I’ve already got my eye on Castello del Sole in Ascona, a former 16th century monastery turned massive lakefront property with its own vineyard and private beach. Ponte Brolla is right down the road too, with natural pools carved into the rock that look too good to be real.

That’s the whole trip for me honestly, one gorgeous property and nowhere I have to be.

Two years ago, I started Moments That Matter. No big launch, no perfect plan. Just a belief that time is the one thing we don’t get back, and that travel done right makes it feel fuller.

What I didn’t expect was how much this business would give back to me.

Every time someone trusted me with their honeymoon, their anniversary, their once in a lifetime trip with the people they love most, they weren’t just hiring a planner. They were letting me into something sacred. A milestone. A memory in the making. And every single time, that trust changed me a little. Made me better at this. Made me believe in it more.

I planned a destination wedding start to finish that taught me more than I could’ve learned any other way. I’m in the middle of planning another one right now, along with bachelorettes, honeymoons, milestone trips, and anniversary getaways, each one held with the same care as the first.

None of this happens without the people who said yes to me. Who referred a friend. Who believed a stranger from Omaha could help plan the trip of their life. You gave me your trust, and in return you gave this business room to grow, and you gave me a version of myself I’m proud of.

I’m building this business in the middle of a full life, four kids, a house that never really sits still, days that rarely go as planned. And somehow that’s exactly why I care so much about getting the details right for you. I know what it means to need a trip that just works. To not want to think about logistics once you land. So I plan like it matters, because it does.

So this one’s for you. Thank you for letting me be part of your moments. You’ve been part of mine too.

Here’s to year three. 🥂 I’m endlessly grateful, and just getting started.

This is Kauri Cliffs in New Zealand. One of the courses on Silversea’s new golf cruise lineup, and honestly one of the most stunning I’ve ever seen.

If you know a golfer (or married one, or raised one), you need to see this. Silversea just teamed up with PerryGolf to launch actual golf cruises. Not “there’s a course nearby” golf cruises, THE golf cruises. Guaranteed tee times, green fees included, equipment handled. You unpack once and play some of the most iconic courses in the world while the ship does the moving for you.

First sailings are 2027 and 2028:
🏌️ British Isles, round trip from Southampton, August 2027
🏌️ Mediterranean, round trip from Barcelona, October/November 2027
🏌️ South Pacific (this one, plus Cape Kidnappers and Royal Wellington), Sydney to Auckland, January 2028

These are going to book up fast. If you’ve got a golfer in your life who also loves to travel in style, this might be the trip that finally gets them off the “someday” list.

Send me a message if you want details, I’d love to help you plan it.

There’s a camp on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater that I can’t stop thinking about.

It’s tucked into an old forest, ten tents total, so it never feels like you’re sharing the moment with a crowd. And because it sits so close to the access road down into the crater, you can be on the floor at first light, watching lions and elephants and the occasional rhino wake up before the rest of the world shows up.

At night, it’s a fire pit and a good meal and maybe a heated blanket if the mountain air gets to you. Guests keep saying the food is some of the best they’ve had anywhere in Tanzania, which, for a place this remote, says a lot.

This is exactly the kind of stay I love building trips around: somewhere the location does half the work, and the details do the rest.

If Tanzania has been sitting on your someday list, I’d love to talk about what a trip like this could look like for you.

☀️🌙 Mark your calendars: August 2, 2027.

For almost 5 minutes, the sky over Tangier will go dark ... a total solar eclipse sweeping across one of the most vibrant destinations on earth. Morocco already knows how to steal the spotlight. This time, the Moon’s just borrowing it.

Tangier sits right in the path of totality, which makes it one of the best seats on the planet for this celestial moment. And accommodations along the path? They’re going to book up long before the sky does.

If a trip to Morocco has been on your list, this is the sign. Picture it... Chefchaouen’s blue-washed streets, Fez’s ancient medina, Marrakech’s souks, Rabat’s imperial history ... and then, one afternoon, the sun disappears.

I’d love to help you build a Morocco itinerary around this. Once-in-a-lifetime doesn’t even cover it!!

DM me or send an inquiry to start planning .. availability is already going fast.
