Been a good trip so far, 2,100 miles so far another 550 and I’ll be home!! Oh and when I left Arkansas yesterday it was 79 and sunny!!! Thanks Mother Nature for my welcome back to the Midwest!!!

First load of 2026 is in the books. Quick run from Decorah, IA to Dubuque IA. First time back in the truck since surgery, felt good to be back out there! Learned today I’m not as healed as I thought I was and need to be selective on the loads for a bit. Want to take a second to thank our son Hunter that jumped in for us the month of December so Becky and I could take the time to take care of our health! Hopefully by this time next year we will be able to stay busy enough that he can come back and run with me!

When you park at a Truck Only rest area in Indiana overnight with nothing around you take getting coffee in to your own hands! Not to mention it’s much better than Truckstop coffee!
