Premium Scream Night is a limited-capacity HHN event, which means shorter waits and more opportunities to experience the houses, scare zones and entertainment.

I’ve been spending some time exploring Regent Seven Seas lately, and one of the things that keeps catching my attention is just how far their itineraries reach. These aren’t simply cruises to familiar ports - they’re opportunities to experience some pretty incredible corners of the world, with shore excursions already included along the way.

I pulled together six very different voyages for 2027 and 2028 to show you just how many possibilities there are.

𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘆𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸.

In June 2023, I planned our first real family theme park vacation: two days at Hersheypark followed by two days at Kalahari Resort in the Poconos.

Hershey, Pennsylvania had been one of my favorite childhood vacations when I was around Liam's age. We never visited the theme park, though, and I'd wanted to go back ever since. So when Liam was 8, it felt like the perfect place for his first theme park trip.

And apparently, I was already training for my future career. 😂

I spent WEEKS researching. Which rides could Liam go on? Where should we stay? What would tickets, parking and meals cost? What restaurants were there? I read menus. I compared all three major Poconos water parks before deciding Kalahari was THE one.

Did I get everything right? Absolutely not. Our Hershey hotel taught me a very valuable lesson about reading plenty of RECENT reviews before booking. 😅

And then, because apparently I couldn't be TOO prepared, I got sick and missed our entire first park day. Scott and Liam carried on without me while I lived vicariously through the pictures they sent back.

Thankfully, by Day 2, I was ready.

We were some of the first people through the gates that morning, and there it was: Candymonium.

It was the tallest and fastest roller coaster I'd ever attempted. I looked at Scott. He knew exactly what I was thinking.

"Go for it."

So I did.

I walked off with a huge smile, adrenaline pumping, and I was READY for our day.

We eventually made our way into the water park, discovered our first-ever water coaster, and finished with Scott and I relaxing while Liam happily floated around the lazy river approximately 847 times.

Then we headed to Kalahari - which turned out to be the highlight of the entire vacation and one planning decision I absolutely nailed.

Looking back now, I think this trip was where my vacation-planning obsession really started taking shape.

I learned that the details matter. I learned to research beyond the price tag. I learned that the right hotel or resort can completely change a trip. And I learned that I genuinely LOVE figuring all of this out.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲? 👀

Disney Cruise Line is getting an entirely NEW class of cruise ships beginning in 2029 - and there's something particularly interesting about these three ships.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆'𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘆'𝘀 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗲𝘁.

They'll be larger than the classic Disney Magic and Disney Wonder, but smaller than the newer Wish-class ships. Disney hasn't revealed their exact size yet, but that middle ground is intentional - and could give Disney more flexibility to reach new destinations around the world.

And THAT'S the part I'm most excited about.

Disney already sails everywhere from the Caribbean and Alaska to Europe and Asia. With three more versatile ships joining the fleet, I'm very curious to see where Disney goes next.

These ships are part of Disney Cruise Line's larger expansion that will eventually bring the fleet to 13 ships worldwide by 2031.

The fog returns tonight!

Halloween Horror Nights 35 kicks off with Premium Scream Night tonight, followed by the official start of HHN tomorrow.

And in exactly 16 days, Scott and I will be walking into that fog ourselves for our annual HHN trip!

We look forward to this trip every year, but we’re doing something new this time: 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗜𝗣 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿.

That means we’ll have a guided tour through all 10 haunted houses, with priority access along the way - and I am ridiculously excited to experience HHN this way for the first time.

Of course, I’ll be sharing plenty from our trip, including what we think of this year’s houses and whether the RIP Tour is worth the splurge.
