IPad EFB Challenge iPad Takes Flight! EFB Challenge Edition. A seminar series to help educate pilots on effective use of the iPad as an EFB in aviation.

MyGoFlight and the IMC Club announced a jointly led seminar series to advance the use of low cost, readily available tablets such as an iPad as an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB). Pilots will attend seminars to test and develop their skills. Regional finalists will compete nationally during EAA AirVenture 2015 in Oshkosh. Pilots will assess their proficiency of using their iPad as an EFB in terms of e

fficiency, proficiency and accuracy in aeronautical decision making during flight planning, pre-flight and in-flight real world situations. The goals are to: 1) Create an understanding of how pilots use their EFBs and identify what proficiency looks like. 2) Identify where improvements to tools or instruction are needed. 3) Get more pilots to see and understand the benefits of flying with an EFB. 4) Identify the best of the best! Pilots can attend the seminars to learn and may also volunteer to be selected as one of four contestants to enter the iPad EFB Challenge. Bring your iPad fully charged with your flight apps up to date and data downloaded for the continental US. Prizes will be awarded provided by MyGoFlight and Marv Golden Pilot Supplies. IMC Chapters will host local and regional contests. Flight schools, military and commercial operators are also welcome to create contests that can then compete on a regional level along with IMC Clubs. Here is what happened. United 1448 landed on runway 5R and turned off onto taxiway N. It is here that they received their instructions to continue taxi to the ramp via taxiway November then Tango report crossing runway 16.
