Now that construction is complete, traffic is finding its rhythm. Week over week, KDOT is seeing growth in both total corridor traffic AND express lane usage. That momentum is real.

Here's what express lanes are built for: The moments when congestion hits hardest. On 69Express, that's weekday morning and evening rush hours. Choose the express lane during peak times, and you're not just saving time — you're also freeing up space in the general-purpose lanes. Everybody wins.

80,000+ vehicles travel this corridor every single day. By 2050, that number will be higher by 30%. We didn't build 69Express just for today — we built it for what's coming.
