Well, we’ve got an interesting story for you this afternoon from the road! 🚛🐦

One of our drivers, Beau, came in today with what we’ll call a small “battle wound.” His truck is currently having some A/C issues, so like any smart driver trying to survive the Texas heat, he rolled the windows down for a little airflow.

Unfortunately, an unlucky little bird had other plans.
Somehow, the bird got caught in the wind and flew straight into the cab of Beau’s truck, causing a full-on mid-drive feathered panic. After a few scratches to the face and what I’m sure felt like the longest few minutes of his life, Beau managed to safely catch the bird and set it free.

We hear a lot of wild stories from our drivers out on the road, but this one definitely takes the cake! Beau is perfectly fine—just a few scratches and now a hilarious story to tell.

As for the bird, we’re pretty sure it left with a lifetime of trauma but is safely back to enjoying his little bird life, outside of a semi truck.

Moral of the story: beware of stray birds when you’ve got the windows down, folks! 😂

We’re proud to announce that Nick has officially passed his CDL testing!

This is a big milestone, and we’re excited to see him hit the road and start putting miles behind him with MML Transport & Services. His hard work and dedication have paid off, and we’re looking forward to what’s ahead.

We are looking to add a mechanic🛠️ to our team 😊

Part time 15-25 hrs a week
Work would typically be done on our trucks days off and after they get in of an evening so this could be done after your 9-5 if you’re looking for some extra income!
You MAY be asked to go on service calls occasionally also.

Meet Logan!

Logan is one of our yard technicians and definitely keeps things interesting around here. Before joining us, he worked at a cotton gin, but after breaking his back on the job and spending time recovering, he was cleared to work and joined the family business this past summer- and we’re so glad he did!

Logan has always had an interest in working on vehicles and enjoys getting out on service calls whenever he can. He’s always learning more about diesel mechanics and improving his skills every day.
He’s quick to jump in, never afraid to get his hands dirty, and usually has a witty comeback ready to go. The yard wouldn’t run quite the same without him.

We’re glad to have him on the team and look forward to watching him grow in his diesel mechanic career 🛠️ 🛻

In his free time he loves to fish 🎣 and hang out with his girlfriend Kaylie

Introducing Nick!

Nick is one of our yard technicians and a valued part of the team. He joined us last summer after spending time working on a ranch in Montana. (He has always been apart of the fam!) With a background in diesel mechanics, Nick brings a lot of knowledge when it comes to diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with our trucks.

He recently earned his CDL permit and will soon be taking the test to (hopefully!) get his full CDL license. We’re excited to see him reach this next milestone.

We enjoy having Nick on the team not only because he’s hardworking and skilled, but also because he brings a great energy to the yard—usually showing up with a goofy grin that keeps everyone smiling.

Nick, we’re proud of everything you’ve accomplished and we can’t wait to see you pass that CDL test. Thanks for being such an important part of the team! 🚛👏

We are looking for owner operators with belly dump and end dump trailers to haul with us. Must have your own authority Pays 88% of what the truck makes per week, you will be home every night. Bi-weekly pay.
