Beagle Logistics is looking for Trucking Dispatcher (Car carrier) with a competitive salary and growth opportunity.
Truck dispatcher/associate duties include:
Locate freight and book cargo for drivers;
Answer all incoming phone calls and emails related to his/her assigned trucks;
Schedule a crew of drivers daily to optimize efficiency and meet the needs of the company's customers;
Entering orders in an operational system for agents and drivers;
Create individual delivery slips and routes for each load;
Advise current prices and weather conditions to the assigned truck account drivers;
Obtain and schedule special trip permits and third-party haulers as needed;
Assist drivers in emergencies;
Serve as the direct contact for the drivers and brokers throughout the day;
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Candidates with or no experience are both welcome to apply. We can train unexperienced candidates. WE PAY DURING TRANING PERIOD!
Ability to multi-task, work unsupervised. Demonstrate good communication skills via phone, e-mail, and face-to-face interaction with customers and co-workers.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must!
