Germantown Greenway Network Connections, not destinations. Draw the ecology of the parks into Germantown's Historic core. Age-friendly, sustainable, and socially relevant design.

Our goal is to establish a network of planned spaces throughout Germantown that embraces mixed modes of transportation and weaves those into the dynamic set of existing resources. We envision the creation of a vibrant set of connections rather than a destination. Such a network would open access to diverse neighborhoods, experiences with nature, and opportunities for education, and would foster greater community interaction.

Great meetings this week with representatives of the Friends of the Wissahickon and the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia. The project parameters are beginning to shape up well and we're excited about the possibilities.
