🇮🇪 IRELAND – DAY 4: KINSALE ➡️ DI**LE
📍 Ring of Kerry • Moll’s Gap • Ladies View
After our stop in Kenmare, we continued on and officially found ourselves traveling along part of the famous Ring of Kerry. 🇮🇪☘️
The Ring of Kerry is one of Ireland’s best-known scenic driving routes, winding through mountains, valleys, lakes, little villages and some seriously beautiful countryside. And even though we weren’t driving the entire loop, Conor made sure we got to experience some of its gorgeous scenery on our way toward Killarney.
First photo stop — Moll’s Gap! 📸
This mountain pass has beautiful views of the surrounding MacGillycuddy’s Reeks and the rugged Kerry landscape. It was the perfect place to hop out of the van, stretch our legs, breathe in that fresh Irish air and, of course, take plenty of pictures. 💚
Next up was Ladies View, and this one definitely deserves its name!
The viewpoint overlooks the lakes and mountains of Killarney National Park, and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous. The name dates back to Queen Victoria’s visit to Ireland in 1861, when her ladies-in-waiting were said to have been especially impressed by the view.
I think the ladies of Giving Ladies Grace approved too! 😉☘️
One thing I’m loving about traveling through Ireland is that the journey itself is part of the experience. You don’t always need a big attraction or hours at every stop. Sometimes you just pull over, stretch your legs, take in an incredible view and say, “Yep…we’re really in Ireland.” 🇮🇪❤️
And we’re not finished with Day 4 yet!
🚐 Next up: Killarney National Park!
