✈️ Why is travel insurance so important?

You insure your house. You insure your car. But what about the vacation you just spent thousands of dollars on?

You can plan every detail of a trip perfectly, but unfortunately, you can’t plan for everything.

A sudden illness, injury, canceled or delayed flight, lost luggage, bad weather, or an unexpected family emergency can completely change your travel plans — and potentially cost you a lot of money.

And here’s something people don’t always think about: the unexpected situation doesn’t necessarily have to happen to YOU.

For example, imagine you’re on a cruise and another passenger has a medical emergency that causes the ship to be delayed returning to port. Now you miss your flight home and suddenly need a new flight, meals, or even an extra hotel night.

Depending on the policy and circumstances, travel insurance may help with expenses caused by covered travel delays and interruptions like these.

Travel insurance may also provide coverage for things like:

• Trip cancellation or interruption
• Emergency medical expenses while traveling
• Travel delays or missed connections

Hi! I’m Morgan, the face behind Morgan’s Vacation Co. 🤍

Since I’ve had quite a few new followers lately, I figured it was time to introduce myself again and share a little about the person behind the travel quotes, deals, and vacation planning!

I’m a wife, a mom to a wild little toddler boy who keeps life very entertaining, and a full-time working mom. Outside of my travel business, I work in the retirement plan field — so you could say I spend my days helping people plan for the future in more ways than one. 😂

Travel has always been something I love, but my personal favorite trips usually involve mountains, cabins, and beautiful views. Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains will always have a special place in my heart! 🏔️ Give me a cozy cabin and a mountain view and I’m happy.

As a travel advisor, I love helping people plan all kinds of vacations — cruises, Disney & Universal, all-inclusive resorts, family vacations, honeymoons, weekend getaways, and so much more. We’re staying at a Drury Hotel in Pigeon Forge this weekend, and I seriously can’t recommend Drury Hotels enough. Anytime you have the option to book a Drury for your trip, it’s definitely worth considering — especially for families!
