Hiring CDL A Driver – Long Haul Step Deck / Lowboy Eagle Express LLC – Portland, OR
Eagle Express LLC is a family owned carrier with over 15 years in business and a strong safety record. We transport a combination of standard flatbed freight and moderate OD/OW loads, typically 1–3 ft over or up to +20,000 lbs. OD freight represents approximately 40–50% of our workload.
Responsibilities
• Operate step deck and lowboy equipment on long haul routes
• Secure loads according to DOT and company standards
• Conduct pre trip and post trip inspections
• Maintain professional communication with dispatch
Compensation & Benefits
• Annual earnings $80,000–$100,000, based on performance
• Pay issued after each completed job (typically 7–12 days)
• Advance available upon request

• Modern automatic trucks (Volvo, Freightliner, Kenworth)
Qualifications
• Valid CDL A
• TWIC card or willingness to obtain
• Minimum 1 year of experience with any one of the following:
o Flatbed
o Step deck
o RGN
• Clean safety record and strong work ethic
