Small Business Saturday is here! This is the perfect time to show the small creators you love some extra support while finding wonderful gifts for all the folks on your list. In honor of the day, I just dropped some wonderful new designs in the Etsy shop, and I am running a little sale on everything else. It’s my way of saying thank you for letting me do what I do. I really cherish the ability to create for a living and every picture, message, review you all send of my work being enjoyed and loved in the wild fills my heart to the brim. Thank you.

Also, I know things are tight for a lot of folks this year. If you can’t purchase from small businesses like mine there are other ways you can show your support!

1.) Follow their social media pages.

2.) Engage with their posts. A like and/or comment goes a long way! Tagging your friends and fam is a great help too.

3.) Share their posts far and wide. Boost their work wherever you can!

4.) Leave positive feedback. Buy something for a great indie creator that you love? Take the time to write a review letting everyone know how awesome it is!

So I dropped the ball a little on releasing new pieces. Family visited who we haven’t seen in a while, and I took a bit of a pre-holiday break to enjoy that. Nevertheless, I am back, just dropped some new styles, and the shop is chugging full steam for your holiday gifting. Included in this drop are some Southwest inspired designs I made as an homage to my time living in the Sonoran Desert, a place that is and will always be very dear to me.

I have more designs I plan to drop this weekend, so make sure you follow the Bee and the Snake on Etsy so you’ll know exactly when they go up!

Greetings, everyone! It’s been a while, but I have returned with new stock! I’m doing things a little bit differently this holiday shopping season with the shop update. I have a bunch of awesome new designs that I’ll be releasing every week in mini updates throughout November. So make sure you’re checking back regularly with the shop to see all the fun new stuff I have coming your way! I also dropped a ton of restocks y’all have been requesting for a while, so make sure you give those a look too. As always, thank you so much for supporting my shop and being patient while I got this long-awaited update together. It’s been a wild year. I am wishing you all a happy holiday season, and I look forward to helping you check off some spots on those gift giving lists!

Well, we are moving to Oregon at the end of the month, and I wanted to clear out a bit of stock before we head north. I just finished making a ton of new pieces that I can’t wait to show you later this year. It’s a busy time, but I’m excited about the future! This isn’t the type of post I normally like to share with you all. It’s very personal, but I feel it’s necessary. I want to apologize for my slower processing and shipping times recently. To be frank, the state of things in the US has hit home pretty hard for my family, like it has for so many others. If you weren’t aware, I am a q***r, non-binary person, and my wife is a trans woman. It’s a very scary time to be part of the LGBTQ+ community right now. To be completely transparent, the stress from this has had a negative effect on my mental and physical health of late. I am very sorry that this has impacted my performance with the shop. That said, I feel as passionate about my work as ever and creating for you is bringing me a lot of joy and purpose. Hearing from so many of you about how much you appreciate what I do means the world to me. I can’t put it into words. You all are amazing, and I promise I am going to keep showing up for you. I just humbly ask for your continued patience right now.

Every order I receive is important to me. It helps me support my family in these uncertain times. My wife and I are in the process of preparing to move to a location where we feel safer, so the income I receive from my shop is as vital as ever. Thank you so much for supporting us. And to anyone who is feeling scared and sad right now: you are not alone. I see you, you matter, and we will get through this. No one gets to define who you are but you.

On a final note, the shop will be going on vacation from February 17th through March 4th. I need a little break to go spend time with family. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and I am grateful for your patience. Y’all are the best. Thank you. I’m sending every one of you so much love and infinite peace.
