Sometimes, doing the right thing means being okay with not getting the booking. ❤️

The other night, a client reached out to me for a quote. The next day, the price had gone up, so I spent my morning trying to find her the best price I could.

What I didn’t know was that another company had reached out to her, too. She initially told them she wasn’t interested, but when they followed up today, she decided to book with them.

And as it turned out, it was a good thing she did!

Of course, I would have loved to handle her booking, but at the end of the day, what matters most is that she got what she wanted. She thanked me for my time and effort and told me she would reach out for her future bookings.

And honestly? That means a lot. 🥰

I believe travel is about relationships, not transactions. I want my clients to feel good about their decisions, even when that means the booking doesn't come through me.

Because my job isn't just to book vacations. It's to help people create memories, and sometimes that means being happy for them from the sidelines. ✈️💙

😰 I'm glad I faced my fear of flying in a helicopter. Honestly, if it weren't for me being able to fly in the bigger helicopter, I think I would have backed out.

The best experiences happen when we step outside our comfort zone and do something that scares us a little. I faced that fear, took the ride, and guess what? I did it and loved it! 🙌 Well...not so much flying between the mountains; I did close my eyes a few times. 😂

These Forums are an incredible opportunity for me to connect with hundreds of Travel Suppliers from across the globe. Beyond engaging with these Partners, I’m looking forward to the extensive educational opportunities, not only as a Travel Agent, but more specifically as an Agency Owner.

Yesterday, I faced one of my fears and flew in a helicopter over the Alaska mountains in Girdwood.🚁

We landed on a glacier where I was able to drink fresh glacier water! 🥛

Sometimes you have to face your fears to feel alive! It is a memory that will stay with me forever. 🙏💕
