I’ve retired twice now. When I retired from teaching art in WCSD in 2021, I started Wayfindersclub so I could bring the joy of creating deep intuitive art to women. I un-retired myself this past October to take a mid-year position at a private high school…checking the final box for me (I’ve taught at all levels now, including preschool, elementary, middle school, Highschool, College, and adults) My run with Wayfinders gave me the opportunity to teach at many fine local studio’s around town including .reno and . During this time I curated and taught 35 classes to hundreds of women! Since I decided not to return to my Highschool sculpture job next year, I decided it was also time to retire my Wayfinders Club classes as well. Time for me to be the student. If you have taken a class with me, thank you. I hope you continue your creative journey…I will be doing the same…❤️

Make Ladies Art Bight your monthly tradition…it’s fun! Bring a friend, a group , or just yourself. I teach art for a living…I’ve guided over 7,500 students to produce what they couldn’t see possible. I co-teach with Suzanne Buenting, who also taught for many years. We teach new techniques each week and combine them into original creative works of art. You won’t know what we’ll be doing until we start, which is a bit scary, and totally fun! All work is done in a sketchbook for you keep and continue to add to time and time again. Consider taking a chance on this unique style of creating. Next class is Thursday, March 14 from 5:30-8:30 .reno

Last month at Ladies Art Night we explored New Beginnings as the theme. Lots of cool pages resulted in the sketchbooks. Next week we take a look at Love as the theme. You’ll get your very own sketchbook to start working in, 2 instructors, and all the supplies you will need…oh, and great snacks and wine too! Ladies Night is continuing in 2024! Suzanne .reno and myself are bringing you all kinds of new thematic art journaling experiences! We have brainstormed a bunch of fun prompts and techniques for our January 11 workshop. Our theme is “New Beginnings”. It’s gonna be a good one! Another year of Word of the Year wrapped up…a full couple of days hosted with incredible women, and incredible stories about how they chose their words. If you missed out, I’ll be continuing my teachings monthly .reno . This Month’s workshop theme is New Beginnings…It will include some more deep dive ideas like I’ve brought you with Word…so if you’ve been on the fence about taking a class from me, this would be a good time to try! ACTION was my WORD of the YEAR 2 years ago…Today I did all my pre-work for my new word, and wow…the pre-work is an absolute must to get to the real word you need! I’ve developed a process to guide you through that selection…and the hands on workshop helps to solidify it so that your word remains fresh and on top of your mind all year long.
