Senior horses don’t appear to need more sleep than younger horses, averaging about three or four hours per day, but they might struggle to get that much-needed sleep.

Chronic pain and possibly increased vigilance could make it harder for seniors to fall into all stages of sleep, leading to drowsiness and health problems over time.

A recent study of 10 horses showed those aged 18 to 26 got more fragmented sleep on average than those aged 5 to 10, and that they slept less overall. Incidentally, the older study horses also laid down less often and stayed down for shorter periods—although it’s unclear whether that’s due to pain, increased vigilance, or natural age-related changes in sleep patterns.

You will meet people that are incapable of clapping for you.

Their behavior tells more about their own stories than it does about you and your accomplishments.... It took me so many years to learn this.

In business you have to be ok with knowing not everyone will recognize your dedication to your craft.
.... Oh you want to make snide remarks about my multiple certifications across multiple industries and compare them to the weight of your ONE college degree?....

Get in line behind everyone else that's tried to discount my experience. Our journeys don't have to be the same, but you'll never steal my happiness. I busted my a$$ to create it... Maybe you should try it yourself.

I could say more, but the view is always better from the high road....

No matter where you are in your professional journey, your education journey, your life journey.... No one has the right to tear down your experience.

You'll meet plenty of people that will try though. They may be friends, partners, mentors, cowards behind a screen... Their weaponized words are just a reflection of their inner self protected onto you.
