A day in LA👇🤩

🍣 First stop: Tokyo Central in Gardena! Grab fresh sushi, Japanese bentos, and unique snacks before exploring the city. It’s a gem that’s worth the stop.

🦖 Next, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, where you’ll come face-to-face with towering T. rex skeletons and one of the world’s largest dinosaur collections.

✨ Then Rodeo Drive to stroll the famous palm-lined streets and stop by the iconic Beverly Wilshire Hotel, where Pretty Woman was filmed. It feels like stepping into a Hollywood movie. 🎬

🥪 Can end the day at Johnnie’s Pastrami. If you’re craving an authentic LA pastrami sandwich, this legendary spot won’t disappoint.

🌲 Yosemite National Park is one of those places you really have to visit in person. The massive Mariposa Grove is home to over 500 giant sequoias—some over 2,000 years old.

Standing next to the legendary Grizzly Giant was unforgettable—a 2,700–3,000 year old tree that has been here since before the Roman Empire. 🌳

From Bridalveil Fall to the Swinging Bridge and along the Merced River, every stop felt like a postcard. At Yosemite Falls, the scenery made taking photos and videos easy—every angle looked magical.

Just outside the park, the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad offers a ride through the forest on a historic steam train. A relaxing and unique way to see the Sierra Nevada—and well worth adding to the trip.

A real sequoia tree souvenir even made the trip home—and it’s been growing fast, like a small piece of Yosemite still with us. 🌱

From towering views in Yosemite National Park to small-town charm in Oakhurst and Mariposa, every moment of this road trip reminded us why we love to visit national parks. 🌲🏞️

We got to stay at Best Western Plus Yosemite Gateway Inn (shoutout to Rachelle for hooking us up 🙌). It was a great home base for exploring the area! And seriously… wake up, Oakhurst! 😆 We had fun checking out the town and making our way over to beautiful Mariposa.

If you’re in the mood for BBQ, Smokin Oak BBQ in Mariposa is SO GOOD! 🔥🍖 A definite must-stop if you’re visiting Yosemite.

Nothing beats good food, great company, and unforgettable views. ❤️
